In our classroom every learner is treated as an individual. It is understood that every child has differing interests, strengths, and readiness levels. Therefore in our classroom we have small group instruction which allows students to work at their appropriate levels. A child's work my be differentiated through the content that is presented, the process through which he/she learns the content, or by way of what the child produces to demonstrate an understanding of the content. Throughout the day, students are actively engaged, working collaboratively in differentiated groups, and challenged in order to achieve academic success.
